I know that many have done this, and because of my military brat lifestyle, I really don't have many to look up. My few friends from those days I've kept up with. But there was one friend from old days who I lost track of and I just found her! Given that I've looked for her for easily 25 years, it was wonderful. We're catching up now. If you've thought of doing this and put it off for one reason or another, hang in there and keep trying. I looked her up, before internet, for years (whenever I'd be in a town I thought she or her parents might be in) then every couple of years or so I'd google her or some such. It's taken decades, and I'm just delighted, as are my parents and her mom.
