My old iPad is dead. Need advise on the new one. iPad Air or iPad Air 2? What do you suggest? Just for casual use, no work. some games, Google Maps for directions.

If you are the type to use something for a long time, go for the newer technology, it'll keep you happy for longer and will run the newest apps that come out.

I went to the sight and looked at them and the only real difference is the processor chip, the iPad air is still quite current and will save you about $100.

Dang, iPads are expensive!

I find the iPad Air to be so much lighter and easier to use than the original, and the camera is a nice addition. The only service that works out here in the sticks is Verizon. I use my iPad much more than I use my iPhone. I like being able to see stuff!

Haven't looked at the Air 2, I'm happy with Air 1.
