Summer, you will be missed!

The summer is ending... We cannot deny it! That's why I would like to share with you my fruit salad recipe.

Ingredients:

For dressing:
1 tablespoon of honey
2/3 fresh orange juice
1/3 fresh lemon juice

For salad
2 bananas, sliced
3 peaches, sliced
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup rasberries
1 cup seedless grapes
1/4 cup fresh mint

Instructions:

1. In a small bowl, whisk together all dressing ingredients. Put the sauce into the fridge for 30 minutes.

2. Layer the fruit in a large bowl. As for the order, it's up to you! Pour the sauce over the fruit. Refrigerate for about 3 hours. Garnish with mint before serving.

Don't forget, you can use your own variety of fruit!

Enjoy the meal! Help yourself and bon appetit!

Hello Natalia, Welcome to DC!

Don't make me get teary eyed over summer leaving! Love the sound of the dressing with both orange and lemon. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

If you miss summer that much, you should do what I do with some of it - bring it indoors! Of course, you can't do this with a fruit tree (though there are some dwarfs out there!), many herbs and greens grow almost as well indoors. I just started seeds for a bunch of things indoors last night.
