Saturday's dinner, 1/16/2021

Nachos. I made the guacamole. Craig made the salsa and the ground beef mix, grated the cheese and put everything together. His had more meat on it, plus jalapeno slices.

I had a plan for supper. Late into the afternoon, I still couldn't motivate myself, so I decided to heat a frozen tourtière. Even that plan fell through. We both have headaches and aren't feeling great, so we ordered out. DH got a pizza and I got a "two stick souvlaki platter". I'm almost always happy when I have meat on a stick. It seemed particularly tasty today.

Scored some great looking fresh swordfish today. Grilled it and we had it with parsley potatoes and broccoli. IMG_3965.jpg

With temperatures in the upper 30s, it was almost balmy! I made salads, then we had toasted ham and Havarti cheese sandwiches, homemade dill pickles, and generously seasoned potato wedges (TJ's Everyday Seasoning and their Umami blend).

It was Jeannie's B'Day so, took D&SIL and grandson to FDs Grill House for dinner. Great food and then back to our place for cake and ice cream. :yum:
