ISO advice baking sweet potato in microwave steamer

I have a steamer n cooker with no instructions. I know I will be putting water on the bottom but I don't know how long to cook the potato and if it needs to be turned halfway. Thanks and Happy New Year!Karen from Canton Massachusetts

Hi Karen. I don't use my steamer for potatoes in the microwave. Just poke a few holes on the potato and put it in for 4-5 minutes. Then immediately wrap it in foil and let it rest for 5 minutes.
