Well, let's kick off the new year. I love cheesecake with cherry topping.

I think I may make another cheesecake today or tomorrow for DD. DD has been sick and she loves cheesecake.

DD’s been sick all week. So I just put a cheesecake in oven. We both love cheesecake with cherry topping.

These are yellow regular bananas, so in between those two stages.
It can also be done with a ripe plantain ( a black one).

I'm diabetic and my numbers just jumped so I'm not baking anything for myself. Making DH banana bread probably since that doesn't tempt me at all!!!

I have some 'naners that will soon turn brown. I will be making a batch of banana muffins. Same recipe as banana bread, but they bake quicker and since you don't have to cut off slices, fewer crumbs.

used a pie tin that had a Frey Bentos steak and kidney pie, they make nice baking tins after washing the pie remnants out.

cherry cheesecke. The brown border is ground pistaccios.

I put the bigger cheesecake out on the deck last nite, at 4F it semi froze.
no need for fiddly springform pans and alum foil.
The small one with cherry is for my farmer neighbor.

For the first time in years, I made a no knead loaf of bread. It will go with the green chile corn chowder I made yesterday, for tonight's dinner.
