I did 2 slabs of ribs and a fatty (1st time) yesterday (forgot my camera so I couldn't take pics #-o ). The last post about ribs I mentioned how windy it was and that they took about 8 hours. Yesterday was beautiful, no wind and the ribs only took 4 hours, nice lunch.
Anyway, I used the Worcester and Texas Rub on the ribs and liked the flavor. This was the first time I used the Texas Rub, I am partial to a local rub called Smokin Guns.
I will be doing 2 briskets and 2 butts this weekend for my sister and was wondering the following;
#1) anyone use the Worcester and Texas Brisket Blend on their brisket?
#2) anyone do a mustard slather and the Texas Brisket or reg Texas Rub on their brisket?
#3) Anyone do the Worcester and Texas Rub on Butts?
I am trying to get a feel for how people like it, again I've always used the Smokin Guns rub on all my smokes.
Thanks for the info!
