Need your recommendations.
Am bringing a "gooey butter cake" to a party next week.
In the unusual event that I actually do bake something, I generally do not use a mix.
But the butter cake calls for yellow boxed cake mix.
Here's the question: WHAT BRAND IS BEST? I made one last year, and, though pretty good tasting, had a sort of chemical taste to it -- from artificial flavoring I presume. Want to avoid that this time.
