I made a batch of salsa and it's quite good but very hot. Is there any way of taking the heat out of the salsa after it's been cooked?

What kind of salsa is it? I've never cooked my salsa so I don't know if this would work for you but I add more tomatoes and/or lime/lemon juice. A pinch of sugar can sometimes help balance out heat too.

possibly with scrambled egg but you'd have to cook it again I think. Chef Chen did this with his chile sauce just add scrambed egg to the mix in order to mellow out the heat. Coudl be worth a try.
