Hi, all! This site is amazing and I've used it for many quick questions I've had in the past. I've learned a little about cooking now, so I feel that maybe I can contribute to a thread or two without completely ruining someone's recipe. 
I've been learning to cook for the last three years, beginning when I moved away from home. I especially love baking and have my eye on the beautiful Williams Sonoma baking book, but I think I shall wait and ask Santa for it this Christmas.
I do have one question, as I certainly don't want to break rules or make a bad impression. I do have a blog I share with another girl who is learning to cook, so I put the link in my signature. From what I understood, this is allowed, and I most certainly would never spam a thread to get link exposure. Please correct me if I'm wrong, and I will remove it at once! Also, please let me know if it's technically allowed but frowned upon... I don't want that, either!
