BLTs and soup.

Ham, collards, homemade macaroni & cheese, deviled eggs, and a chocolate chip cookie. All leftovers brought from a family Christmas party.

Stir-fry (steamed actually), peppers, onions, cabbage, mushrooms, water chestnuts, then sliced zucchini, strips of yellow peppers, broccoli trees, and soy curls, seasoned with soy sauce, garlic and onion powder, glazed with water and corn starch. Served plain or with stir fry sauce on veggie brown basmati rice.

I opened a jar of my pressure-canned turkey stew. It was pretty yummy. Earlier we had tuna casserole for lunch so was not too hungry by dinner time.

Sunday Pasta Supper here ... oops ... well it was there a minute ago

I just didn't feel like cooking, so we ordered Greek food. Oh my goodness that was yummy. Chicken gyro pitas for DH. Pork gyro for me. We shared some of the best roast potatoes we have ever had and psilokomeni (a type of salad}.

I was going to have Hamburger Helper with hash browns (I think this is a new flavor), but I made the mistake of going to the store and buying a bunch of stuff that was on sale. All of it needed to be frozen, of course, and there was already no room in my freezer (I have a half size fridge).

So everything had to be taken out of the boxes and jammed into the freezer and the shrimp (on sale) wouldn't fit in. Rather than let it thaw in the fridge, that was supper tonight along with a couple of donuts (remember when they were spelled doughnuts) and a couple of waffles because those will have to reside in the fridge, too.

I'm afraid to open the freezer door now.

A small casserole of baked rice, sausage crumbles, mushrooms, onion, and BTB turkey flavored broth with a sugar free applesauce snack cup.

Made yellow curry with pisang goreng (fried banana) and rice

Sunday brunch was cinnamon pancakes, turkey bacon, ham steak, and eggs.
