It's cool today so tonight I'm making roast beef, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli (steamed spinach for me) and burgundy pan gravy.

I celebrated by downing a beer after my morning ride (and it wasn't noon yet).

Tonight's dinner was grilled cheeseburgers with a side of roasted cauliflower and onions.

Out of spoons today. DH is out playing golf; he'll pick up a pizza from our local pizza place on his way home.

It's a blast from the past here tonight. Remember "Impossible Hamburger Pie" made with Bisquick? I'm doing an oversized gussied up version, baked in a skillet.

I made potato salad and coleslaw last night, had some haddock fillets deep-fried by the seafood department while I grocery shopped earlier today. Today's potato salad had capers and chives this time. Himself said it was tasty.

That's right..Not sure exactly where my lineage came from, but at some point we ended up out on the west coast. One of my forefathers founded Quesnel BC while employed by Simon Fraser..not sure you could find one Frenchman left out there..
