I'm feeling sort of out of it today, like I might be getting a migraine soon. So, we ordered from our favourite Mexican resto. It was delicious. I think the trick is to realize that the delivery versions will be a little less good than the same dish served in the resto. Maybe they have upped their game in terms of making food for delivery. We had ordered from them early in the pandemic and were quite disappointed that the food wasn't as good as in the resto.

I had a ham bone to use but didn't want to make soup. Instead, I used a lot less water and made ham and beans. I used a different, new-to-me bean, yelloweye beans. Wow, are they creamy! I also made a skillet of cornbread, using the recipe from Damned Delicious. Once again, a winning recipe from Chungah!

CG... "I used a lot less water and made ham and beans."

My preferred ham and beans method. I will have to find those "yelloweye beans" too. :yum:

We turned leftover pork loin roast into open faced sandwiches for dinner.

Chocolate pudding was dessert.

Cabbage rolls with lentils and rice and tomatoes.

Chocolate spice ball with oats.
