I'm with Dragnlaw on this one. I was exposed to liver in the 70s and I can assure you I still would never eat it. I know this way: if I can't get it past my nose, I know I won't be eating it.So, you don't actually know if you still detest it.
Breakfast this morning was watermelon. I spent $5 on a watermelon at a vegetable stand hoping it was better than the store bought ones. Unfortunately, it tasted just the same. I was able to grow some watermelon when I lived in San Jose and eating that was like eating home grown strawberries or blueberries - it was like eating a different fruit compared to what is sold in grocery stores. So it looks like I'm going to have to learn to grow watermelon in a cold climate.
With that in mind, I did try growing and eating fresh green beans once but alas, they just tasted like fresh picked grass. *spit, spit*
