Along with neck and liver I found this inside a duck that I'm about to roast.

What the heck is it?

Thanks,

Al

It's your surprise bonus. Hopefully, it'a s heart and gizzard. Use those with the neck to make a stock. Use the liver to make a pate' or a spiced liver spread on toast or crackers.

If it's a liquid, it may be a gravy or sauce packet. I found one in a store brand turkey before Thanksgiving.

Ah, yes, thanks. I should have taken a clue from the front of the package that said "Orange sauce packet enclosed."

Sure looked like duck intestine contents.

 Glad you got it figured out!

Never been impressed with the enclosed sauce and it usually goes straight from the duck to the trash for me.
