Went shopping yesterday and came home with a somewhat naturally raised chicken....am putting together a chicken and rice casserole...dh should be home from his childhood trek in a few hours..

My DH just let me know that he got confused and he is doing an afternoon shift today and starts nights tomorrow - so once again the family dinner that I planned will be postponed.

So I think Dad and I will have pizza - ham and pineapple for him and mushroom for me! I am about to get the dough on. It is good to have stuff DH can't have when he isn't here

I reheated the burgers from last night.

chicken breast, pounded and flash fried in small amount of oil. jasmine rice, cauliflower with melted cheese. my meals are boring with the salt restrictions , added to the carb. restriction for diabetes later in recovery i can add just a bit more flair as i get used to it.
