We had guests for dinner.
Artichoke, Parmesan and garlic dip
Prosciutto and Gruyere puff pastry pinwheels
Caesar salad
Shrimp stuffed with crab and prosciutto
Sesame noodles
Thai pickled cucumbers
Carrot cake

we went out shopping for skiing clothes for dw and the boy, and to rent this year's skiis for the little guy. it went surprisingly well.
afterwards, we found a good little steakhouse and pigged out. we got there just as they opened for dinner, so we indulged in the still germ free salad bar. the pate on homemade raisin bread was delicious, and so were the harvard beets, and the spinach with blue cheese dressing.
for dinner, dw had cedar plank salmon and mashed, and the boy and i had prime rib and baked spuds.
desseet was a monstrous piece of triple chocolate cake.
