I'm going to Bingo with the Neighborhood Gal Pals this evening, so I'm going to put together individual entrée salads to eat at the diners leisure.
Chef for him and a scoop of store-bought Chicken Salad on a bed of Greens for moi.
No photos, because I haven't made them as yet

Seems like we just had this, but it's new today, not do-overs.
Grilled johnsonville brats bush baked beans, deli cole slaw, watermelon, ice tea.

Basmati rice and braised soybeans with salsa again. I love it. Sliced fresh peaches and watermelon.

DH is packing to go camping. It's a "Burner event". I'm not going, but there's a lot going on today and a lot of stress, so we ordered hamburgers. This time DH just ordered exactly what we had the last time. It saves that little bit of effort. DoorDash stores your recent orders, so you can just click, "Order again". They were delicious.

We have the leftovers from yesterday, so all I had to make fresh was veggies - broccoli for him, asparagus for me. He wasn't interested in salad, so I made a "girlie salad" for me. Black walnut ice cream chilling for dessert later. Those birdies sure look interested...

For tonight, it was a form of pepper steak, using cube steak braised in chicken stock with baby carrots, oyster sauce, garlic, onion, ginger, and Lee & Peron's Worcestershire Sauce. The braising liquid was then used to cook rice noodles, and thickened with cornstarch slurry. The meat was very tender, with good, beefy flavor. For me, the stars of the show were the sliced red, yellow, and orange pepper slices, and the baby carrots. They really added great flavor. Desert was a small amount of left over ice cream. Beverage; Rice Dream.

I bought a mini waffle maker. I like it.
Mini waffles topped with butter, cream spread (blended cream cheese, sour cream, and honey), syrup and strawberries.

We had country style pork ribs, cole slaw and garlic/parm bread.
Watermelon and cantaloupe chunks for dessert.
