Hello. I am a huge fan of chicken donair. I wish to make it at home. All the veggies plus bread are easy to make, and I think the meat (which would be chicken in my case) on a vertical rotisserie is the most difficult to make. Just wondering if anybody has any success with replicating donair meat at home. Thanks.
 
I believe that donair is mostly a Canadian Atlantic Provinces dish. If that is what you mean, then as I understand it, it's basically "doner" with a different sauce. Someone can probably give you a recipe for that. Lots of us cook foods that are traditionally cooked on a vertical rotisserie by other means.
