For those of you who mix and match your knives instead of just getting an all in one set that comes with a matching butcher block, I came across something at Macy's about 2 months ago that I have to swear by.
It's called a Kapoosh (kapoosh.com or a quick macys.com search). It's basically a butcher block that uses little plastic rods and displacement in place of carvings in a piece of wood to hold the knives in. You can put em in at any angle, any different brand, no having to worry about finding a slot the right size, etc. Highly recommend these things to anyone who's a little more discerning about the knives they use and doesn't stay loyal to just one brand/set.
