So last night my wife and I were talking about doing some smoken; she mentioned that I promised her that I would smoke a prime rib this week whiel on vacation. So this morning I headed to the store. When I got there I was not to happy with the selection of rib roasts that they had to offer. So I opted for a strip loin roast instead; so I asked the meat cutter to cut me a 5 lb bone in strip loin. I also picked up a 5 turkey legs, 10 chicken legs and a whole chicken that I cut in half. I seasoned the beef with montreal seasoning and then got the smoker going. I got so rushed that I did not get any pics before I put them on the smoker . I will post the finished pics later tonight. I am using mesquite and kiawe wood and Kingsford original.
