Help! Get hard candy out of my pots!

Hi Everyone!
I just made my first batch of lollipops and they turned out great! However, the candy cooled very quickly, and I'm not sure how to get it out of my pot that I cooked it in, or the Pyrex measuring cup I poured it from. Any advice? The pot is a Calphalon pot.

I've always used a good hot water soaking. Takes a while to melt the stubborn sugary stuff.

For the pot, could you just heat it up again the same way you did originally?

The measuring cup I would probably put some water in and heat it in the microwave to boil it for a while.

Lollipops are for licking. Do you have a dog?

No dog for me unfortunately . It looks like boiling the measuring cup and just running super hot water through the pot did it. Thanks everyone!

when i do brittle i fill the pot back up with water and bring it to a boil

I just pour boiling hot water on everything in the sink. It works easily and I don't have to watch the stove (saves it from getting dirty if I am only boiling water)
