It was a damp, rainy, blowsy day, perfect weather for soup. I pulled one chicken breast from the freezer, poached it with lots of aromatics, and used the strained liquid for part of the soup base. Added one lonely chopped leek, lots of carrots (6), most of three celery ribs (yup, I nibbled some), and the shredded chicken and simmered until a pot of noodles was cooked.
