Nurses rock! While my Mom was alive, one of her doctors told me that he became a doctor rather than a nurse because he wasn't tough enough to be a nurse. I don't know if he was talking truth or just giving a hat/tip to nurses, but I always thought nurses could run circles around any medical specialist.

Well said, and +1 I'll never forget their loving care for my sweet sweet suffering Mama so many years ago.
My sister has been an RN for about 35 years. Some doctors appreciate what nurses do more than others.

Ain't that the truth! I worked in hospitals for about five years. Some doctors are arrogant. Some doctors ask the more experienced nurses for suggestions and advice.
