Hi there ya'll. Im dan from alaska, i roast coffee for a living (visit kaladi.com)

cooking is a hobby i am trying to expand into an art. i have a few basic sciences down, but i want to learn about baking, and some of the more fundamentals. I am beginning to get good at using an oven, and can bake fish real good. but i would like to learn ways to handle poultry (especially for the oven) and beef.

my current question is; after you have baked a garlic clove, what is the best way to keep it? is it necessary or even recommended to refrigerate it? This is what i have been doing so far.

cheerio!

Glad you found us Dan! Where do you live in Alaska?

Definately refrigerate your roasted garlic. There's a whole lot of bacteria running about and nobody wants you sick, especially since you have to share some of your Alaskan recipes.
