I was asked this questions years ago and I have asked it many times since.

If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only have 3 herbs or spices, what would they be. (salt is already there in the water)

For me, garlic is a vegetable, so it belongs in the other hypothetical--what 3 veggies would you want on a desert island.

Herbs or spices--rosemary, black pepper (be sure to send along a grinder) and cinnamon.

I guessI just want to make sure garlic gets on the desert island...can't thrive without it!
