Must I use a pressure canner

I want to can corn and green beans, do i have to use a pressure canner or can I use water canner method?

Unless you are pickling them, in sufficient acid, you must use a pressure canner.

When canning low acid vegetables, you must pressure can them. You can not safely use the boiling water bath method.

Oh dear. Me sainted mother used only a water bath for canned corn and green beans. Didn't own a pressure cooker. Should I now be worried I'm living on borrowed time. I suppose I should look at my newer copy of the Blue Ball book. I freeze green beans anyway.
