Just used my regular rub, smoked for 2 hours @ 225*, spritzing every 30 mins with apple juice, applied Parkay, brown sugar, & honey when wrapping them. Cooked wrapped for 1 hour. Then cooked another hour unwrapped. Coating with sauce during the last 30 mins.

Sounds really interesting. Googled Trigg's ribs and found a lot of others think they are well worth the effort. May be my next rib cook. Thanks for the post.

I will definately do them again. The wife really loved them.

Well back in my 3-2-1-1 days I tried honey in the wrapped phase on several occasions. I found the honey even when used in a dilute amount and judiciosly applied tended to have a case hardening effect on the ribs. Gave them a nice unwelcome crunch at an unexpected time. Maybe that is why Trigg is rumored to enjoy heading North to pick on cripples so often
