Hey guys!

So i've got this new girlfriend and ive cooked for her and her mom before, but tomorrow night im cooking for her whole family (mom, dad, sister, sister's boyfriend, and her) and I want to impress them with some korean food!

So far on the menu I've got Bulgogi and fried rice, but I really need a nice side dish to bring the dinner together! I need something relatively easy to prepare (i need to make this whole dinner afterschool tomorrow!) and something that a lot of people will like. I know I seem picky but I want to make a good first impression!

Any and all ideas would be great. Thanks everyone!! :)

Very brave of you, Drummer! I'm sure you will make a terrific impression on your girlfriend and her family!

I quickly Googled "Korean recipes" and this one jumped out at me as one that meets your specs.

Good luck!

salt

vegetable oil to fry

Sprinkle salt on both sides of squash.
Dredge lightly in a flour.

On a medium heat, add 3-4 table spoons oil, fry until very light golden on both sides.

Serve with soy sauce.

Am I too late? Well you can continue to impress her. Try making some Korean seafood dinner pancakes.
