Sweet Potato casserole substitute

Hi, I recently came across a sweet potato casserole recipe which contains onions. I would like to try it but one of the ingredients is sage (which I do not like). Do you think if I substituted summer savory that it would be alright.
Thanks for all your advice regarding cooking questions I have posted. Have tried many suggestions and worked out very well.

Just leave the sage out, it won't affect your casserole. You can certainly sub savory of you like but don't think it's necessary.

You can also try rosemary or thyme as replacements.
