ISO a recipe for ham using J. D. (Jack Daniels)

Hi, I was chatting with a guy in the liquor store last night who says that the best ham he ever had was made with Honey Jack Daniels. Has anyone ever done this, and do you have a recipe? It sounds like it would be fun to try. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have never done it but, I saw a recipe for a grilled ham with a glaze that sounds mighty fine!

That sounds good Aunt Bea. I shall give that a try. I think he was talking about some ham that was roasted in the oven, but on the grill actually sounds better this time of year.

I'm drooling over that recipe Bea. The next time I have my brood for dinner, that's what we're having! You're right Chopper........it's perfect for the summer and something different on the grill. I can just see this with sides of potato salad, fruit salad, marinated veggie salad......oh yeah!
