Certain foods - fresh, are called something completely different when dried or changed some other way.
Not necessarily a game. Well, unless you want it to be. Just something of interest when I read that prunes are not being called 'dried plums'. Also after the big discussion on coriander.

If anyone know of other things similar, please chime in!
 
Becuse of our previous generation's hang up with the human body's reaction to the consumption of prunes, for a long while they were actually advertized as dried plums.

Not sure which 'previous' generation :unsure: you're referring to but don't think I ever heard my grandparents call them dried plums. :whistling
I've also heard them called, liquid chicken.
and then this post right after the prunes is not bringing up the most appetizing image.:wacko:
