Prepared pickled cucumbers today but they a floating

Pickle experiment got terminated due to pin prick hole in the plastic back.
It looks like it can work though, just need to find a better quality bag.
The hole was due to wear and tear, not due to CO2 formation.

I grabbed the bag and liquid in bowl and moved to a glass jar. Added a little bring and put a plastic bag with brine on top. then lid and airlock.
But obviously I disturbed the lot, so we will see what happens.
2 days ago they were still quite salty, with hardly any sour.
No visible infections, so just a matter of wait and see
 
from the sounds of it Badjak seems it just might be successful! Brine can be sort of forgiving.

Keeping claws fingers crossed for you.
 
I'll try another piece in a couple of days.
Honestly, I do lacto ferment, but cucumbers normally just go into vinegar for a quick result ;)
